Just lost my iPhone with a locked (encrypted) password document. Most of the 150 odd entries are not critical but about 30 or 40 are..
So, I am curious about the strength of the encryption.. can you tell me about that?
The documents on the mac and on the iPhone are the same..
    Regards

Brendan can answer about the encryption strength.

But if your iPhone has a password that’s pretty hard to crack in and of itself. and if you had find my iPhone turned on you can set it to remote wipe as soon as its connected to the internet.

    Hi Karl,

I’m sorry to hear you lost your iPhone.

The strength of the encryption is entirely dependent upon the strength of your password. If someone can guess your password, all bets are off. Tap Forms uses the SQLCipher SQLite database engine to do its encryption. It’s pretty strong stuff. It uses AES-256 bit encryption to do its work.

You can read more about it here:

As long as you didn’t just password protect the application, but you actually password protected the document, then even your file attachments and photos are encrypted within Tap Forms.
