I have 2 date fields that until today would interpret my input, for example, 11-21-1972 as Nov. 21, 1972. But today, TapForms is not making the conversion. I also tried 11/21/1972 and it retains the info in the format I entered it. This just started happening.

Another example is entering a phone number. It still works so when I enter 10 digits, they are automatically converted into a format with the area code enclosed in ( ).

Would like to figure out why the date field is no longer converting my input into a consistent date format as it use to.

    Has something changed? Thank you!

    Hi Carol,

No, nothing has changed. I am using Apple’s NSDataDetector technology for interpreting dates though, so perhaps they changed something. But I just entered those exact dates into Tap Forms and it interpreted them correctly in both formats. You can also type in things like “today” “yesterday”, “tomorrow”, “lunch tomorrow”, etc. and it will interpret those meanings too.

    Thanks,

    Brendan
