When trying to enter data (notes, pictures) I‘ve noticed a mismatch to the iOS typical behavior.
Free Text has to be saved, instead of automatically be saved, once I switch fields.
It already happened several times, that I entered text, and just hit the back button, to discover that the text I entered was gone.
    Same with attachments (pics).

Normal behavior on iOS is an implicit save, contrary to tap forms explicit save (button).
Is there a switch where this behavior can be changed?

    Hi Makoto,

For the Note field, because Tap Forms can display links within the content for things like phone numbers, email addresses, websites, and addresses, there has to be 2 modes. When not in Edit mode, the links are active. But when you go into Edit mode, the links are not active. So then to get out of the Edit mode, you tap on the Save button. It also allows you to abort a change that you don’t want to keep by just pressing the back button.

However, what I should do is interrupt the back button and alert you if you’ve made changes that haven’t been saved.

There’s no function to change that behaviour at the moment.

    Thanks,

    Brendan
