I’ve tried out the repaired copy record link option. It doesn’t work with my main document.

I realized this document doesn’t have a doc Id

How can I get an Id in there.

When you open it, does it show the document ID in the sync area under tools?

    That’s not a document. That’s a folder. So that’s why there’s no Document ID.

Did you at some point remove the .tapforms file extension?

Oh that’s it. It doesn’t go thru the folder. If I open the folder and display the document it works.

I didn’t remove the tapforms extension. No.

Ok. I wasn’t sure because I thought that folder was perhaps a document without the .tapforms file extension. A .tapforms document is actually a folder with the package bit enabled so it’s treated like a file rather than a folder. But you can navigate inside of it and see what’s inside, including the SQLite database file and all the attachments.

So the copy link won’t get thru the folder is what you’re saying?

I just moved the file out of the folder. Everything is good.

Hmm… the record link function has no concept of the folders. I’ll have to check to see what my document opening code is doing. It may only be looking at the root level.
