Probably obvious, but how do you sort the columns in a report. I tried changing the order of the fields in the default view but that has no effect.

Set the First Sort Field (and the other sort fields and group records by) setting on the Form properties panel.
That’ll sort the records.
If you’re talking about rearranging the order of the fields, then click the little tool button at the top-right of the multi-column list view and drag the fields in the list up and down to change their columnar order.

I understand those… but when I try to PRINT a report, I can’t seem to sort the columns.
What do you mean then by “sort the columns”? You don’t mean sorting the records and you don’t mean rearranging the columns so they are in the order you want them to be when printed. Is there some other column ordering you’re needing? Make sure when you print that you’re on the multi-column list view. Tap Forms will use the order of the multi-column list view columns when printing.
