I didn’t see this in the forum, but I thought it worth a heads up to folks here. Cloudant is forcing all passwords to go to 16 or more characters in March(?). Those who use it here might want to check theirs and update it as needed.

I happened to stumble upon this when I logged into the cloudant website and got the notice mine was too short. They had a warning that users should have sync issues after the deadline if their passwords were not compliant.

Naturally you will need to then update said password for all your devices and separate Databases.

And you will need to switch to the IBM Cloud service by the end of March anyway.

I updated the IBM Cloud documentation to reflect the change:

    https://www.tapforms.com/help-mac/5/en/topic/ibm-cloudant-sync

And in fact, the username and password you will now use in Tap Forms is not the same as your IBM Cloud username and password. IBM will issue you a username and password when you create your service credentials.

I know, it’s must more complicated than it used to be unfortunately.
