    Hi Brendan
    I am having to do the above on one machine, I also sync to another mac and an ipod touch.
    Is it OK to turn off sync before i do the instal, carry on sync with remaining mac and ipod whilst sorting things out, then turn off sync, restore the latest database backup to the new machine and then reset sync?
    I hope that’s clear and you can point out any problems asap!
