Can't enter data

    I imported a CSV file and after changing the Import File Encoding to Windows latin 1, it seemed to work okay. All the records (44) and fields (11) are there.

    But I can’t go into this database on my iPhone and select a record to edit the data.

    Each field has all or some of the data with a right bracket (>). But when I press on the field or the right bracket, nothing happens.

    Please help this helpless newbie!

    I just deleted and reinstalled program and everything now works.

    Hello Eliot,

    Sorry for this trouble. It was probably that the app was put into Edit OFF mode. To switch back to Edit ON mode, tap on any record, then tap on the action menu button, then tap on the pencil button. You should see a message saying “Editing Enabled”.

    In the next update Tap Forms will display the notice saying “Editing Disabled” when you try to edit a value if you have editing off. At least it will tell you what’s wrong rather than just silently disobeying you :-)
