Calculation of Dates

I found a post which showed me how to calculate 90 days from a certain date. So, I have a form which fields are : date bought, return policy, and return by date. I fill in, for example “90” in return policy field and in field return by date- the result of 90 days from the bought date will appear.

I want to be able to be aware of when the return by date is approaching. Is there a way of having a conditional field that says when an item is a week away from its return by date expiring, then maybe the field will turn red or something?

Can you tell me how to do this?
