Calculating Daily Mileage

I want to create a DB that records daily trips. I would like to enter the odometer reading and have Tap Form calculate and save on the current record the mileage done since the last entry. I can’t see how to do this and the last record is not accessible.

I’m sorry but you’re right, there’s no way to access the previous record’s values.

If you think about it, what is the previous record? What if you choose to sort your records by a different field from time to time. Or you change the sort direction. What is the previous record then?
