I wanted to create a form that could be used for reference by my people in the field. That is, I created a form that simply has an image with a list of options of certain info they need to refer to. There is no data to be entered nor new data to be created.

I set the form up with just one field, a picture field, and loaded it with the image I want.

The form cannot be created unless I also add a text field. To hide the text field I give it a blank name.

So… why can’t I have a form that simply contains the image field and nothing else? Is this a bug or “feature?”

    Hi Leo,

Good question. There’s a bunch of logic in Tap Forms to determine if the first field is an image or not and to generate a thumbnail for it if it is. I’ve never really considered having a form with only an image. But I’ll look into it.

    Thanks,

Thanks Brendan, basically what I wanted to do was create a form that is locked “view only” so it could be used for reference.
