It would be nice to have the option of setting up saved searches to use either “all” or “any” of the specified search conditions to effect simple AND or OR boolean searches respectively. Being limited to AND searches is rather…. limiting.

Seems like that would be a fairly easy enhancement to implement…. but of course I don’t know how hard it would be. What do you think about that, Brendan?

    Thanks,

You can do that as long as you’re searching the same field (not between fields). The OR must be in uppercase.

    For example:

Movie Title contains Terminator OR Hunger

That’ll retrieve all records that have a Movie Title that contains either Terminator or Hunger.

    Thanks,

Thanks, Brendan. I can use that…. but I still think it would be nice (more discoverable and easy for new users to understand) if there was something in the interface that made that capability obvious.

    Best,
    Cliff
