Dial out from Contacts in Tap Forms adds extra junk to phone number

Today I was informed by a user via the iTunes review system that Tap Forms has a bug in it when you tap the phone number on a linked contact. It adds the text "?abuid=" followed by some number to the end of the phone number.

I did some research on this problem and have discovered that this is in fact a bug in Apple's iPhone OS 3.0 software. Apple added this new dialogue when a user taps a phone number in an app other than their own Contacts app.

This can cause a problem for some people as it will not dial the phone number.

At the moment it seems that there's nothing I can do to fix it. Well, unfortunately I haven't found a way to fix it yet. That area of the application is completely out of my control. It is a built-in screen that Apple provides developers to use for integrating the Contacts database with our apps.

So please know that this isn't a Tap Forms bug, but a bug with the iPhone OS 3.0 software itself.

Thanks,

Brendan
