Which Sync is Best?

My use case: I use TF5 on Mac and iPad. I regularly use them at the same time:

1. Enter the new record on the Mac
2. Sync (iCloud)
3. Open record on iPad
4. Access the record and take a photo
5. Sync (iCloud)

Sometimes I have to sync multiple times in order for the updated record to appear.

Would it be faster / more reliable to use Cloudant or nearby sync?

I’ve finally got nearby sync working and I like it better than iCloud. It seems to be faster and more reliable.
