I just bought three refurbished iPod 3rd Generation not knowing they don’t have camera or the ability to run IOS8. Luckily I can return them.
So, before I buy the 4th Generation I know they have the camera but will they load IOS8 so I can run TapForms?
Also, will the 8GB model be adequate or do I need to go larger?
Leo
Hi Leo,
Whichever model runs iOS 8. I would suggest the current generation one is your best bet. The one with the 4 inch screen. As for the storage requirements, it all depends on what you want to do with them and how much media you want to store on them. 8 GB might be too small. It would be for me.
Thanks,
Brendan
Thanks Brendan, I found a chart on Apple’s site showing IOS8 compatible devices. I’ll need either iPhone 4S or above or iPod Touch 5th Gen (latest).
8 GB will be fine because each event use of TF will start with a clear database as data will be exported at the end of the day for use and storage in Panorama on the Mac. Of course if I can get 16gb cheap enough I’ll get that.
Anyone looking to sell their old iPhone 4S or above or iPod Touch 5th? ;)
