    Hi,

I’m intending to use Tap Forms to store my short clips of various dance snippets I’ve collected. I’d input these videos into a custom form sync it to the iPad and iPhone and watch it on the mobile devices.

Can such a sync work? Does the app sync the entire database or only changes? I reckon data usage would be a killer if the entire DB has to be synced each time.

Secondly can the iOS apps playback video attachments (MP4 files) or allow it to be opened via share option?

Lastly, let me know if I have any areas I have not thought of that might be worth considering.

    Hi Chris,

Yes, you can do this. But it might take a while to sync video files. Use a File Attachment field for it because the Photo field type won’t accept videos.

Yes, the iOS version can play back video file attachments as long as it’s in a format compatible with iOS. MP4 files should be fine.
