I have a form named Hoster with a field that is Link to Form: One to Many with Show inverse relationship enabled
Basically I link my records named Website to records of Hoster to keep track of which of my websites are hosted where.
However I am unable to un-link a website if I made an error. Some of my sites are not hosted anywhere and I need to keep that fie;d blank, but it does not appear to be possible.
- If I unlink from the child (Website) record, the field does clear, but it does not save. If I click on another record and then come back – it is back being populated by the previous data.
- If I try unlinking from the parent (Hoster) record, it deletes the child record altogether.

This is an issue I still need to resolve. At the moment only the Many-to-Many Link Type has the ability to unlink a child record.

Funny but I just encountered this issue yesterday. I ended up create a “dummy” record that was just a “-” character and am linking to it until the issue is addressed.
