I have two records I am unable to delete. TFP goes through the motions, but the records remain. Please see attachment.
In the Single-Column List View, I can delete records by selecting them, then with a two-finger tap, bring up the Duplicate or Delete menu. Selecting Delete there will properly delete the selected record(s).
Alternately, if I swipe left on a record or selected records in the records column, the Trash icon will appear. Clicking on the the Trash icon, I’m prompted if I want to delete. Clicking on Delete will not delete the record(s).

Try putting some data into the records and then delete them. That should work.
