1. When I make a filter and include the records and fields I want a then export to the spreadsheet, all my records and fields get exported not only the records and fields I selected.
2. When I open a record and share it nothing gets sent.

Which platform are you exporting from?
1. When you make a Saved Search, make sure you’ve got it selected before you export your records. If you go back to select the main form, then all the records will be exported.
2. Is it the Share function on the iOS version you’re using from the record details screen? That will generate a .tfarc file. But if you choose “Email Record” instead then you can email a snapshot of that one record in either a PDF or HTML format.

As far as the export I was trying to open a saved search then setting the view to multi column and selecting only a few of the fields then export.
While it exports the proper searched records it exports all the fields.
I suppose I need to set each field to not export in the customized settings.
Ya, you can’t just select the fields on the multi-column list view.
On the Export Records screen on macOS there’s a list of fields with checkboxes beside them. Un-checking will not export that field. Checking, will export that field.
On iOS it’s a bit more cumbersome because you have to go to the Field Options screen for each field and enable or disable that field for export.
On macOS you also have the ability to configure Presets which lets you save different configurations. You can have as many presets as you like for different purposes and switch between them quickly with the popup button. Tap Forms will check or un-check the fields for export according to how you set them up in each Preset.
