Yutaka KitamuraParticipantTap Forms Pro (iOS) Version 1.2 (Build 258)
When switching records by flicking in the universal layout, the contents of the note field get replaced with those from another record.
This does not happen in the default layout.Attachments:

BrendanKeymasterWell that’s disturbing. I hadn’t seen this issue before. So just on the iOS version? So are you swiping between records on the record details view or are you tapping on the record from the list view, then tapping the back button, then tapping on the next record, and so on?
Is it permanent? If you close and re-launch Tap Forms, does it show the proper values?

BrendanKeymasterThanks for reporting this. I’ve found the bug and I’ve fixed it. I’ll be publishing the 1.2.1 update very soon.

Yutaka KitamuraParticipantThe issue on iPhone has been fixed, but I found a problem with the note field on Mac.
When entering text in the note field in a custom layout on Mac, using a keyboard shortcut to move records may result in the content being saved to the destination record.
Even if I type directly into the note field in the Mac universal layout, it seems like it’s being saved, but it actually isn’t.
Closing the database file reverts the changes.-

Yutaka KitamuraParticipantIf I don’t save in the Note Field editor, the changes will be lost when I close the database file.

BrendanKeymasterIf you click outside the field before you switch records, that can also avoid that issue. But I’ll work on a solution to this issue.

BrendanKeymasterYes, it seems when switching records using the keyboard shortcut commands, the value in the Note field is being shown on the record you navigated to. If you use the mouse to click on a different record, this issue does not happen. I’ll work on a fix for the keyboard navigation issue.
