Jorge LopezParticipantHello everyone,
A couple weeks ago I bought a new iphone xs max and i’m experiencing some wierd stuff. Even when I’m able to display which forms will be seen in the apple watch when I have more than 1 form available in the apple watch I get an icon to refresh and the app get stuck there.
If I tell the app to display 1 form, no records are displayed after selecting the form and I only can see the form name and a blue line. Before upgrading to the iphone xs max I paired with my old iphone 6 and worked fine. I have installed/uninstalled the app in the new phone but I’m still experiencing same issue.
IOS Version: 12.1.4
AW Version: 5.1.3
TF Version: 5.3.4 (913)Any help would be appreciated.

BrendanKeymasterHi Jorge,
I don’t see why it would be any different with the XS Max. I only have an iPhone X and it’s working for me with multiple forms. But maybe there is a bug with just 1 form displayed. Could you try adding a few more forms to be displayed on the watch and see if that works?

Jorge LopezParticipantThanks Brendan for your reply.
I added a few more forms and I can see them on watch now but when I click in any of them no records are shown and as I described before it only appears the form name and a blue line.

BrendanKeymasterThat’s very strange.
Try force-quitting Tap Forms on your Apple Watch. Then launch it again. And open up Tap Forms on your iPhone first too with the document opened.
It should show you the count of the records and the list of records on the watch.

Jorge LopezParticipantI tried what you suggested but unfortunately didn’t work.
Today I did back-up all my forms and I did a clean install of the application. Even using the sample forms I’m getting the same result. For some reason if I add just one form it doesn’t appear on watch but if I add a couple more they show in watch. What’s even wierd is none of the forms I have added displays any record on watch and it seems like the app keeps trying to get records from the phone.
I used default client and client log forms to test this new installation.

BrendanKeymasterTap Forms does require the iPhone to be available for it to display the data. Every request for the list of forms or the list of records for the selected form goes to the iPhone to fetch the data and return it to the watch.
I just tested again and I’m getting records.
Attached screenshots from the watch showing the list of forms, the list of records, and the record details for an Expenses form.
I’m really not sure why the records aren’t showing on your version.

Jorge LopezParticipantIn all my tests I had the iphone next to me and I was not able to get any record.
I’ve noticed it is a communication issue between iphone and apple watch. I’ll wait for the next iphone update to see if is not something they introduced in the last update.

BrendanKeymasterAre you perhaps using a beta version of iOS or AW?

Jorge LopezParticipantNo, I’m not using beta versions.
