My iPhone has just upgraded to IOS 14.2. My tap forms organizer cannot be launched. Since I did not make the updated backup, please give me advice to solve this problem.

    Hi Jones,

Which version of Tap Forms are you using?

If you’re using the old version of Tap Forms 4 this could be caused by an incompatibility with Face ID. Did you also upgrade your iPhone from one that had Touch ID to one that had Face ID?. If so, then you’ll need to copy the database files and folders from the Tap Forms documents area in iTunes File Sharing (or the Finder in Catalina) to your computer. Then zip them up to a file called TF-MyBackup.zip. Once you’ve done that, delete Tap Forms and then re-install it. Then copy the backup file back to the Tap Forms Documents area in iTunes File Sharing (or using the Finder in macOS Catalina). Then you can restore the database.

Tap Forms 5 does not have this particular crash. It’s only the old version 4 of Tap Forms.

    Sorry for this trouble.

    Thanks,

    Brendan

    Hi,

I replied to your email earlier today.

Click the back button and you should see your files. It looks like an empty folder you’re viewing.

Do you know what might have caused this if there were files in that folder?

    Do you have backups?

    Thanks,

    Brendan
