If Iwant to do this for security reasons, and no other as Cloudant is just GREAT!, am I right in thinking I have to switch off Cloudant sync on all devices, delete my Cloudant database, delete my data from the non master devices and resend data from the master, then switch on nearby sync on all devices and cross my fingers?

Hi Tony,
Just sign-off Cloudant on each device, then delete the Cloudant database on Cloudant.
Then on the Nearby Sync screen, just add the other devices.
But now you have to have the document opened on each device for sync to happen. And the documents have to be open on each device during the whole sync process.
It’s more inconvenient than Cloud syncing in that respect, but yes, it’s more private for you.
I’m still working on Apple’s CloudKit integration by the way.
