    Hi Brendan,

I am still working on my database entries. What I noticed that in the split view where I can see the table at the top and the current entry below, that money sums won’t show, but other sums do.

For the last one, I have a screenshot to show that other sums do show. I do know how to activate it, but the euros won’t show.

It isn’t terrible, but it isn’t convenient to have to go back and open up the drop down list.

    Regards,
    Kimberley

Hmmm… You know, I saw that problem a long time ago and I had already fixed it. Do you have Euros selected for the Currency setting or do you have Unspecified? And are you located in a region that uses Euros?

There may be a difference between the way the Euros get represented if you’re in Europe and have Unspecified selected, vs. if you have Euros selected for the Currency setting.

In Canada when I select Euros from the Currency property, I get what’s in the attached image. The Euro symbol displays on the left. And it works fine to select it from the Totals popup.

    Hi Brendan,

I can see what the total is per line, I just want to be able to see what the total is per column, so that I can add it to my taxable income. I also am dealing with book orders that I am sending on to my publisher and would really like to see at a glance how much income I generated for them in these presales.

I live in Germany – a Euro currency country. I have Euros selected in the currency style box (“Währungstil”) Like I said, this is a minor inconvenience, I can open the drop down box to see what income is being generated, it would be just faster if I could just look instead of click and open (oh, the difficulties of modern life :) )

Can you try setting the Currency to Unspecified to see if that solves the problem? Tap Forms should automatically display the currency in Euros because you live in Germany.

The screenshot I attached didn’t just show the line, but it also showed the total at the bottom of the column.

    Good morning, Brendan,

Unfortunately, it didn’t work for me.

    Best regards

Can you show me a screenshot of what it looks like with the Currency set to Unspecified?

It was a bit difficult to do without showing private information, but I took some screen shots. It just didn’t show.

    Hi Brendan,

I upated to the Tap Forms Pro and have the same problem again. I can see the sum, but I can’t keep that field open showing the total sum. I’ve tried converting back to <region standard«, and still, it won’t stay open. It just closes. I’d like to see keep the sum field in my line of vision all the time.
    Any tips?
    Thanks
    Kimberley
