Since Tap Forms does not allow calculated fields based on other calculated fields, is it possible to construct a slightly complex formula. I am not having any success. The formula I am trying goes as in steps below.
1. 1 – (variable one /100)= X
2. 1 – (variable two /100)= Y
3. X x Y = Z
4. (1-Z)x100.
eg. if variable one = 80 and variable two = 80, then the answer should be 96.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.
Hello Shekar,
I’m assuming you’re working with the Mac version? Not sure by your request. If so, then you wouldn’t put equals signs in the formula. The iOS version wouldn’t let you do that anyway.
You should be able to build a formula like that.
Could you explain a little more about what you’re tried? You could also email me your form template and I can look at it to see what might be wrong with the formulas.
Thanks!
Brendan
