    Hello everyone,

    I think I’ve found an error in the grouping function of the records.

    When you open the “Zimmer” form in my database and set the value to 1 under form details at Other / Single-column list view fields, and then choose no restriction for the fields to be displayed, the list shows the field to be sorted as the main heading — in my case, the name of the apartment — and below that the floor. After that, an empty line appears and then a dash indicating that a new entry follows.

    So far, everything is fine.

    However, if you then set Other / Single-column list view fields to 2 in the detail settings and reload the overview, the following is shown:
    The main heading with the field to be sorted
    The name of the apartment
    The floor
    <the empty line that previously separated everything together with the dash from the next record>
    The room description
    <the dash separating the next record>

    Is this intended behavior? Especially in “dark mode”, the empty line above the dash is very helpful for visually separating the records from each other.

    Hi Steve,

    What do you mean by and then choose no restriction for the fields to be displayed?

    You have 3 fields set to display:

    Wohnungen, Beschreibung, and GroBe [m2] (sorry for not using the German characters).

    The first is a Link From Form field, so it’s showing the fields that you’ve specified as for the first x fields to display from that form. Then it’s showing the next field. With 2 set on the Single Column List View Fields setting, it’s showing just the first 2 of those. But the first field of course contains multiple fields as defined on your Link from Form field.

    Although there is a gap between the first and second fields. That could be because of the Link From Field settings. Ya, that’s right. Your 3rd field on the Wohnungen field is a Link to Form field (Zimmer) and that’s what’s causing the gap.

    Seems all right to me.

    Hi,

    ah ok but when I select. So it takes the Preferenzes from the parents formula. Than everything is clear. Sorry for causing trouble
