Hello,
I bought both versions of the software, both for mac and for iOs. I have built a database for my patients in the doctor’s office and for each of these I am using the photo function to attach their reports.
The problem is that the photos take up a lot of space making the database very large.
Is there a way to reduce the size of individual photos? In other words, an automatic conversion function when you take a picture with iPad / import a photo with Mac?
Thanks for the reply
Sergio
Hi Sergio,
Yes there is. Go to the place where you can edit a photo’s properties. Then select the Photo Size option.
On the Mac version at the bottom of the field properties for the selected Photo field, there’s also a Resize All Photos function which will loop through all your photos and resize them to the size you’ve selected.
Thanks!
Brendan
Thank you for the answer. Everything works now. There’a problem now…when I click on the button “Resize all photos” the app crashes every time. Some photos are resized (I think files with .blob extension), but not always.
Is it a known bug ?
Thanks a lot.

Hi Sergio,
I would be interested in taking a closer look at your database to see if I could reproduce this error.
Can you upgrade to version 5.2.6 to see if you still get the same error? You’re 2 versions behind.
Thanks,
Brendan
Great !! Everything is working perfectly now.
Thank you very much again.
