Is there a way to order the list-view fields (that show on the left hand record list) independently of how fields are ordered in the main panel (default layout)?
My first field is a picture, thereafter I have “Name”, “Number”. Before this recent update (July 10), the left hand list of fields (set to show 3 in “Single Column List View” option) displayed “Name”, “Number” and a third field. After updating this morning, the first field is now the filename of the picture (which I don’t want in this view at all), and I can’t seem to find a way to change this.
Thanks!
Hi Andrew,
Yes, this is a new feature of Tap Forms Pro. Click the little table button to the right of the (+) add record button. There you can choose which fields to display and in which order by dragging the fields up and down.
Thanks,
Brendan
Ah – that is great!
However, it only seems to work when I select the entire database in the left hand pane.
When I select any of the many custom searches I have, (a) the picture filename is displayed instead of a thumbnail and (b) the order does not seem to respond to my dragging fields up and down.
thanks,
Andrew
That’s a bug which I’ve fixed for the 1.0.7 update. The photos will show when a Saved Search is selected when the new update is available (soon).
New Update fixes this – thanks!
