I have TF Pro 1.05 and I am trying to share a DB with my wife who also has 1.05. When I attempt to share the DB, the share dialog pops up. I click on +. She is there in Messages etc. If I click on her icon there with the messages bubble, my Messages pops to the front but does nothing. (and nothing on her end). I tried AirDrop, nothing. I can generate a link and send it manually via Messages, but clicking it on her end results in a message that the item is unavailable.
FYI. the DB is being synced across my devices with iCloud which is working well so far for me.
Quick update. Sending the share request from my iPhone seems to be working. It appears that initiating the share from the Mac is the my problem.
I’m glad that it worked from the iPhone. I mostly just sent the link to other people, but I’ll do some testing with the share sheet on macOS. Ya, it seems to get hung up if you click on Messages. But when you use “anyone with the link” and copy the link, then it works. Not sure why there’s a difference. It’s all just a link.
I also had problems with sharing to a specific person with both email and messages. The only way I could get it to share with a specific person was to use Air Drop.
Note: As I noted in the original post, the anyone link did not work for me either. It would simply say that one did not have permission to access the DB.
