    I have a customer database that has a date field for the customer’s birthday. I would like to be able to search for the customers with up-coming birthdays. The birthdates are stored with the actual year of birth. So, I could have customers with 4/15/1980 or 4/18/1970. How can I search for records in April (regardless of year)?

    Hi Jeremy,

    Unfortunately there’s no function to search dates without the years from a Date field. You would have to have a couple of separate fields, one for the month, one for the day in order to search like that.

    You’ve really got to implement a powerful date feature to search for the birthdays using the month regardless of the year!
