tonytParticipantHi Brendan
If I drag down in multi column view to hide the single record view at the bottom, on return its back.
Also, in single column view, if I drag the record window to the left to reduce the records display, on return it has gone back to half and half screen.
Help
Cheers

BrendanKeymasterTap Forms now remembers the view you selected for each form as well as the position of the vertical or horizontal bar. Try switching views in all your forms and position the divider bars appropriately to see if they stick. There may be a problem with hiding the record edit view in multi-column list view though. I’ll need to investigate that.

AnonymousInactiveHi Brendan
Also struggling with dual view (in F3 an F4 mode) I took a look at tonyt’s attachments and I have to say that it still occurs in 3.0.3
Any help – and thank You in advance

BrendanKeymasterTry resetting the defaults database where Tap Forms stores its preferences. Things like the window position, size and panel width and heights get stored there.
Quit Tap Forms, then try this command in the Terminal application:
defaults delete com.tapforms.macThen re-launch Tap Forms. The window and panel heights and widths will be reset back to “factory defaults”. See if it remembers it now.
I know there’s an issue with when you collapse the record details view in multi-column list view mode that when you come back to that form or re-launch, it’s not still collapsed like you would expect. I have to fix that still.
Thanks,
Brendan

AnonymousInactiveDidn’t help. Since You’re working on it, I will have some patience.
Looking forward to the solution.

BrendanKeymasterOk, I’ve made a small change so that Tap Forms remembers the collapse/expand state of the divider bar when switching forms. You’ll notice that it already remembers it if you collapse the divider bar, then quit, then re-launch. It just gets reset right now when switching between forms.
My question for you is, do you expect that each form could have a different collapsed/expanded state? Or just when you collapse or expand once and switching between any form would remember the last state selected?
That’s how I have it working now. There’s just one collapsed/expanded state for all forms.

AnonymousInactiveSorry, I was out for some days.
No, I don’t expect that each form will keep a different state, in fact, I can live with keeping state for one or for every form.
Following 2 occurrences:
1. If I expand the lines in F4-mode with the small button (navigate to the parent form), the form disappears like expected. Back in F3 everything is ok; switching again in F4 it shows again the dual-mode.
2. If I expand the lines manually in F4-mode (drawing the dividing line all the way to the bottom) I see what I expect from the multi column view. Then switching to F3 the vertical delimiter of the “Entry-column” widens extremely to the right. If I don’t touch this vertical delimiter, the F4-mode shows the normal (e.g. not dual) mode of multi columns. But correcting this vertical delimiter to the left, the F4 will show again dual mode.
I hope I could expiress myself understandable, since English ist not my native language.
