ShaneParticipantHello,
I’m currently evaluating TF Pro hoping to use it over something like Clickup (I’d rather give Brendan my money) but right off the bat I’m experiencing weird problems such as linked records not deleting.
I am recreating my form schema I had in TF5 which involves a hierarchy of linked Forms/ Records. For example I have Clients -> Client Projects. In Clients there is a link to form field pointing at Client Projects with a one to many relationship. If I create a Client Project record from within the Clients form it cannot be deleted. It won’t delete directly from the form itself either. The records show as being deleted but when I click off the form and come back, the records are back. If I create a record directly in Client Projects I can delete it.
I tried recreating the database from scratch in its simplest form and can easily replicate the problem. Even deleting the linked relationship doesn’t help.
Thanks.

BrendanKeymasterHi Shane,
I just did a test with that and it seems to be working for me. When I add a linked record, then click the delete button for that record, I’m asked if I want to unlink or delete. I click Delete and the linked record disappears. I switch to a different parent record and then back to the one where I deleted the related record and it’s still gone.
Do you have the latest 1.0.10 version of Tap Forms Pro?
Thanks,
Brendan

ShaneParticipantHi Brendan,
Yes, I’m using 1.0.10. I thought maybe it was a sync issue but nothing is set to sync. I’ll try again today if I have time.
I tried doing exactly the same thing in TF5 and it worked as expected. It’s very odd…

ShaneParticipantI recorded a video of me replicating the issue and emailed it to you. :)

BrendanKeymasterThis issue is fixed and will be available in the 1.0.11 update I’m currently working on. Replied directly, but just so others who might stumble upon this will know too.
Thanks for the video. That really helped.
