recalculation of, in my case, dates due, only seems to work when the whole form is selected. In a filtered selection the recalculation doesn’t happen.

Yes, it does recalculate for the entire form still. But I wonder if you have the search selected, press the refresh button, then switch to a different search and back again, do the values appear to be updated? It may just be a refresh issue rather than it not performing the function properly.
