I am having a couple of issues with the rating field using Tap Forms HD. When I creat a new ratings field it comes up blank (no dots) and won’t accept entries. I found a work around for this was to go into field options, select maximum value (which by default shows 5) and save. The 5 dots now appear and it will accept entries.
The other issue I have is if you touch the screen anywhere to the right of a ratings field it will fill the field with 5 stars. When you are scrolling up and down it is too easy to change the field to 5 stars. It would be better if it only change when you pressed on top of the dots.

Thanks for your bug report on the ratings field. The ratings field does need to have the maximum value set or it won’t work. But it should have been defaulted to 5 and should just work without having to save it. I’ll look into that. And I’ll also look into the tapping to the right of the field issue.

I noticed too that when scrolling through forms (on Ios), it’s very easy to hit and change the ratings. Would it be possible to lock that entry once it’s made the first time. If you need to edit the rating, long press one of the stars? I know you must have a thousand things you need to work on so just a suggestion to add to the to do list…. Thanks for the great app again.

Ya, you’d have to do something like that because there’s not much room on either side of the stars on the iPhone version. Thanks for the idea.
Another idea might be a double-tap on the stars.
