    Bonjour,

    Cordialement. Luc

    Hi Luc,

My sincere apologies, but I don’t speak French.

    1. The date of the attachment is what you get from the Finder. It should match the file’s creation date in the Finder. Not the date that you added the file.

    2. The empty area is just that. It’s empty. There’s no column there. You can adjust the widths of each column if you like. There’s no function to add notes to each attachment. Perhaps in a future version I’ll add that ability. For now you could just add a separate Note field where you could add comments for your attached files.

    Thanks,

    Brendan

    Hi Brendan,

Thank you for your quick reply.

For 1, you’re right, it’s not the date I added into TF, but I’m not agree with you because, I checked and the date of attachement is the “date de l’ajout” (in French) into Finder and not “date de création” . Are you OK ? Can you modify that ?

For 2, I understand, but my wish is to use the little empty column as remark (max 20 characters) like “toutes les astuces”.

Many thanks for all your work and sorry for my bad English.

    Have a nice day. Luc

    Hi Brendan,

Sorry for my big mistake :
It’s only for “Alias” that the date is not I want.
For “add a file”, it’s the file’s creation; your’e right.

Is it possible to have the date of the file ‘s creation of the original file when we add an Alias file ?

I prefer “Alias” because my files are in a directory that is synchronized on a NAS.
But if you have a good reason to add the file in TF, let me know.

Thanks again. for your job. Luc

    Hi Luc,

Ah I see. I didn’t realize you were using the Alias function.

Ya, so it seems that Tap Forms is getting the Date Created value from the alias file itself and not from the file the alias points to. I’ll have to investigate that. I’m just asking the operating system for the Date Created and I guess it’s just giving me the alias date created. I’ll have to resolve the alias and then get the original’s date.

    Thanks,

    Brendan
