When using a pick list of values on Macbook the list will not allow me to deselect a value, the result being that a value must be picked rather than no value being an option. On iOS there is the option to select none at the bottom of the pick list or just deselect the value. No such option appears to exist on the Mac. How do I resolve this?
ok, I just resolved this. Just delete from the field entry on the form. Works differently than iOS.
Yes, it does work differently than on iOS. You can also use other control styles on macOS such as checkboxes, radio buttons, or popup buttons. With a checkbox format you can easily uncheck a value. Or as you’ve discovered, just clear the field.
