I have a field called ‘Phone Number’ which I wish to hold (you’ll never guess it!!!) a phone number.
I’m in the UK, where phone numbers do not follow a regular format. They might be 020 8123 4567 or 0117 333 444 or 07944 123 456, but they all start with zero, or for international conformity they start with +44 and drop the leading zero!
When I apply a field type of “Phone Number” it is apparently only willing to accept North American style numbers, and refuses any of my UK numbers.
Is there a possibility of accepting other formats?
Hi Philip,
Tap Forms uses the format associated with your region for formatting phone numbers. So in the UK you should get what you need. Just type in the raw digits without any formatting and Tap Forms will format it for you.
But if your region is set to North America then it will not format it the way you want and you’ll have to switch it to UK.
