Carl LeiversParticipantHi there!
So I’m trying to get IBM Cloudant sync working on Tap Forms 5. I followed the instructions you provided (https://www.tapforms.com/help-mac/5/en/topic/ibm-cloudant-sync) but when I click on “view credentials” I don’t see anything labeled as a password … am I just missing it?
Thanks!
Carl

BrendanKeymasterHi Carl,
After you click Service Credentials on the left, you may have to click the New Credentials button. Then click View Credentials. You should see your username and password appear below that.
See my screenshot.
Use the username and the password values within the quotes.

Carl LeiversParticipantHi Brendan,
So I’m not seeing that when I click on service credentials — but also, my dashboard says “Cloudant-vy” … did I sign up for the wrong service?
Thanks!
Carl

BrendanKeymasterI’m really not sure why you’re not getting the full thing.
Your screenshot is selected on the “Manage” menu item on the left.
This is what mine looks like…

Carl LeiversParticipantYeah, sorry I was using that screenshot to show you the name of the service that was showing up for me.
This screenshot is what I get when I click on service credentials

BrendanKeymasterIt might be that you chose a different authentication method when you created your Cloudant service resource. I just noticed they have an option now for Legacy and IAM. I suspect the IAM is the new authentication method. You may need to delete and re-create the resource using the legacy authentication method. I just tried it in my account and it worked. It generated all the things you have in your screenshot plus a username and password in that blue box.

Carl LeiversParticipantThat did the trick — thanks for all the help!
