BrendanKeymasterHello Torsten,
You can certainly set something like this up in Tap Forms.
I would recommend creating 3 forms. A Clients form, an Order form, and an Order Items form. Your Client form would link to your Orders form using a One-to-Many Link to Form field. Your Order form would link to your Order Items form also using a One-to-Many Link to Form field. You should turn on the “Show Inverse Relationship” function on your Link to Form fields. That way if you’re looking at an Order, you’ll be able to see which Client it belongs to. If you’re looking at an Order Item, you’ll be able to see which Order it belongs to. Perhaps you would have an Order Number field to identify different Orders.
Your Order Item form could have a Product Name field which has a Pick List associated with it that contains a list of all your product names.
Then when you create an order, you’ll be able to select a client, then add one or more Order Item records to your order. When you add a new Order Item you’ll be able to select the product name from the pick list you have hopefully already setup and set on your Product Name field. You can then enter in a price for the product. Perhaps different customers get different prices for the same product.
Anyway, I hope that gets you started a bit and wasn’t too confusing. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks!

If you have 20 Products – fine! If you have 200 products or more, then its a little bit unrealistic….

BrendanKeymasterHello Torsten,
Yes, that’s correct. But you didn’t specify how many products you were managing, so I just came up with one possible solution. If you use a custom layout for editing your form, single-select Pick Lists display as a combo box control which has auto-complete built-in. So you can either use the popup to select a product, or start typing a product name and Tap Forms will auto-complete it for you.
Thanks!
