New user, so apologies if this is a dumb question but I can’t figure it out, and can’t find any details on the forum.
I’ve created a very simple form – one field only (want to use this as a pick list for another form).
I’m using default view, and as soon as I press “New Record”, a pop-up alert appears saying
Missing Values – please provide required values for all fields.
I press OK, but generally have to press it about 5 times as the alert keeps reappearing.
This is before I’ve even had a chance to enter any data – I would understand the alert if I’d navigated elsewhere, but I want to create a new record – of course the fields are empty when I start!
The single field that I have is not a required field – it initially was, but I switched it off to try and stop this alert happening, but it’s made no difference. Am I somehow going wrong?

Maybe turn off the Required Field setting on that field for now. I need to do some more investigations on this. Is it the Default Layout you’re using or a custom layout when you get this error?
