new layout not syncing to iOS

Newbit. Made a new form for database, but when I sync with iOS devices, only the default form arrives.

Unfortunately, the default form as fields with a lot of text, and the text goes off screen to right.

Hi Brent,

When you have a long field like that you should use a Note field. They’re designed for when you have lots of text to enter and display.

Also, custom layouts don’t work on iOS. Sorry.

Do I have to re-enter all the info when I change field type?

Hi Brent,

Not when switching between Text and Note. Even though it warns you, Text and Note are compatible.
