Using the trial version. I have created a document called Contact List Addresses. I want to create multiple forms to print records in different ways.
The first form I created is Input Form, which in theory will contain all needed fields. I entered 2 test records.
Then I wanted to create another form called Envelope. As soon as I click on “New Form”, the records I entered disappear. Going back to the Input Form does not bring them back. Once I got as far as actually creating the second form, but the records were gone.
I have tried this about 5 times (quiting Tap Forms and re-opening in between). Same result. Side note: Tap Forms has crashed twice while I was trying all this.
I have watched the video and searched for info. I think I am missing a very basic step here.

Hi Sharon,
Make sure that your forms have a First Sort Field set on them.
When you click New Form, the records you created in the other form don’t disappear. The New Form function creates a whole new form and adds one single field and one single record to that form. But your existing form is still there. Make sure you also have the Forms List displayed on the left. If you’ve collapsed it, then maybe that’s why your previous forms aren’t displaying.
Thanks,
Brendan
Thanks, again. Had a feeling I was missing something basic. Entered the Sort field and everything reappeared. I even quit and re-started, and everything is still there.
Ya, the First Sort Field has to be set. I really should make it mandatory.
