An existing category, even with no forms, is listed on the Mac and iPad Forms pane (screen left hedge) but not on the iPhone.
Is it supposed to be that way?
One more question with categories:
On the Mac, Uncategorized forms are shown under the label “Uncategorized”.
So Forms under this category can be collapsed clicking the “Hide” Label, and only the category name will be shown.
That doesn’t happen on iOS; the “Uncategorized” label is not visible, so we cannot collapse forms under this category; the forms names are always visible.
Is that supposed to be the way it is?
Only if you have the All Forms view selected. If you have the My Forms view selected, you won’t see empty categories. It is by design. It lets you move forms into other categories even if there are no forms in them.
The iOS version was done that way because I had a design firm help me to come up with a design for Tap Forms 5 and they suggested that. If you don’t have any forms in it, then you won’t see anything there.
