It’s good style on the Mac platform to make every possible function a menu item, even if there are other ways to access it. One reason is, if its in the menu, you can go into system preferences and assign a hot key to it.
There seems to be quite a few things not found in the Tap Forms menu. iCloud sync is a stand out one. Switching between list and columns view looks like another. Probably I could find more if I started looking.
