I was looking on the forums but the only things I’m seeing is from 2011 (so perhaps things have changed). Is there a way to lock a record? I’m finding I am accidentally changing values on a record that I don’t want to change. (Accidentally pressing the wrong keys, etc.)

Not password protected, just locked to prevent accidental changes on a record that should really be static unless it’s REALLY intentional to change the values.

    Thanks!

    Hi Krista,

The iOS version has a function to lock editing of all records in all forms unless you first toggle a switch, but that hasn’t made it to the Mac version. There’s no function to mark a specific record to be static once created. Sorry.

I thought about adding an Edit/Save button that you’d have to press to edit each record, but I wondered if people would find that annoying, so I haven’t done that yet.

    Thanks,

    Brendan
