Hi All,
I noticed with some dismay yesterday that when using the form field type ‘Location” I am not getting any geocoded location or Lat/Lon coordinates returned to the form.
The map appears to work fine with the location being displayed there but upon tapping “Save” nothing appears in the calling form field.
We are using both the 4.0.7 (309) and 5.2.10 (847) versions on iPad and it appears that this issue only affects the latter version.
My guess is that Google have changed something in their API.
I would be very appreciative of any advice leading to a resolution as I am keen to roll-out a field data collection solution within our organisation ASAP.

Hi Robert,
This is not Google’s fault. It’s mine. The data is there. It’s just not being displayed. If you move that field to the top of the form, then it should display on the records list screen.
I’ve already fixed this for the 5.3 update I’m working on.
