Not sure if this is a bug, or if I’m just missing something, but I can’t figure out how to link multiple records to a form.

First, I created a form called ParentForm. Then, I created a form called ChildForm with a “Link To Form” field called “ParentField”, linked to ParentForm, Many-to-Many. This automatically created a “Link From Form” field called on ParentForm called ChildForm. So far, so good.

When I create a new item in ParentForm, and then click on the little arrow next to ChildForm, I get a page called “Select a Record” with a list of ChildForm records, and I can click on each one to selected it, which seems correct. However, the only only other buttons on the page are “Cancel”, which takes me back to the ParentForm record without changing the selected records, or “+”, which creates a new ChildForm record.

There doesn’t seem to be any way to select multiple ChildForm records, then ‘Save’ those selections to the ParentForm record.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks,
    Patrick

Hmm… it seems to be missing the [Select #] button at the bottom of that screen. I’ll have to do some investigations with that. I know it used to work!

Perhaps an iOS 8.3 issue? Did you recently upgrade?

    Thanks,

    Brendan

    I haven’t upgraded yet, I’m still running 8.2.

I’ve since been able to confirm that the opposite direction works, though. If I go to a ChildForm record, and tap on the ParentForm field, the list of ParentForm records has a check mark in the title bar that takes me to a “Select Records” screen with a “Select(0) All None” bar at the bottom, so now I see how the other page is supposed to work.

I actually just fixed this bug yesterday. Sorry about that. It’ll be in the next update.
