tonytParticipantHi
Where can I find a list of the new features in the latest mac and ios versions and also info on how to use them in general?
Thanks…
Especially the new modified by field typeJuly 21, 2020 at 1:49 PM #41429
Daniel LeuParticipantHere are the release notes for the desktop: https://www.tapforms.com/app/5.3.12.html and then there is the documentation at https://www.tapforms.com/help-mac/5.3.
Not certain for iOS, but I would check the AppStore for the version history.
Cheers, Daniel

tonytParticipantThanks Daniel
On my iPad I added a modified on device field but then could not see how to make it work as I modified a Record and nothing happened?
Also, is there the same for Mac as I cant see one and cant quite understand the use of it if you cant show it on all platforms?
Thanks…July 22, 2020 at 8:53 AM #41434
Daniel LeuParticipantDo you mean ‘Date modified’? This does exist on the Mac and it is updated when a field in the record is modified. Sometimes I have to click on
Recalculate formulasfor the field to show the updated time.Cheers, Daniel

BrendanKeymasterHi Tony,
Unfortunately the new Modified by Device field was not completed on the iOS version. I dropped the ball on that one I’m afraid. I’m going to have to release a new update to fix that. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks,
Brendan

tonytParticipantNo problem, look forward to it Brendan. Must be on the Mac as well for it to work properly?
Cheers…July 22, 2020 at 11:52 PM #41467
BrendanKeymasterHi Tony,
Yes, the Mac version one works fine.
And I’ve also just fixed it on iOS. I submitted it for review by Apple for TestFlight. Once my beta testers determine that it’s working, I’ll submit it for production review and release.
Thanks,
Brendan
