As far as I can see there are not keyboard shortcuts for Form inspector panel or Layout inspector panel options (https://www.tapforms.com/help-mac/5.3/en/topic/keyboard-shortcuts?q=layout+inspector). They also do not appear in any of the menus.
It is only possible to access them with a mouse/track pad from the toolbar.
Would it be possible to add either shortcuts and/or menu entries for these options?
Hi Victor,
command-shift-e will select the Form inspector panel. And control-shift-e will select the layout inspector panel. Those commands are displayed in the Forms menu and the Layout menu.
Thanks!
Brendan
Brendan,
You are right about Control + Shift + E = edit layout
But Command + Shift + E = Edit Search … (not form). See attached screenshot

Brendan,
Also if you have the Form inspector panel open – then Control + Shift + E is greyed out on the Layout menu.
So as far as I can see you can only switch from the Form inspector panel or the Layout inspector panel through the use of the mouse.
If not possible, could you add it as a feature request for the next version?
Victor
The Edit Layout item is enabled when you have a custom layout selected. Not if you have the Default Layout selected.
And the Edit Form is enabled when you don’t have a Saved Search selected, only when you have the main form selected.
Brendan,
I did not form my query precisely.
The Form and Layout icons allow easily to switch between the two inspectors, but there are no shortcut keys equivalents.
Attached is a video to show what I mean.
