Is this possible – caculation after search

I have a series of records, one field of which is location. I search by that criteria which gives me a subset of records displayed. All records have as one of their fields a numerical value.

I would like to be able to total the numerical value for the records displayed from the search…

Hi Roger,

Yes you can do this. Just set the Calculation Type for your Number field on the field properties inspector. Then when you do your search, Tap Forms will compute the value just for the resulting records. You can choose Total, Minimum, Maximum, or Average for the Calculation Type option.
